The following hockey schools have instructors or are run by current and former Canadian national team players. They are listed by province starting in Eastern Canada. For specific dates please go to web sites posted in each listing. International player schools will be posted second week of June.

Nova Scotia

Philosophy: The days are full days from approximately 8:00am - 4:00pm, however, times may vary dependant on registration numbers. A full schedule will be mailed out to each participant closer to the start date of the camp. Each girl will be on the ice twice and learn valuable off-ice hockey instruction during the days as well. Lunch is not provided but can be purchased at the facilities.

Philosophy: Canadian national team players are special guest instructors
How this school is different? Utilizing small space games to develop skill in game situations learning agility and quickness and incorporating this into game situations. Stress is on complete player; physically and mentally, on and off ice, Learn from top female athletes who play the game at the elite level. Instructors are provincial and national level players who have experience in teaching athletes of all ages and skill levels. Many have a background in physical education and are trained to ensure progressions meet the needs of all individuals.
Ontario
Name: Lori Dupuis & Jayna Hefford Hockey School
Location: Kingston
Audience: Female players aged 5-18. We have various skill programs including beginner classes and both junior and senior elite groups.
Instructor: Jayna Hefford & Lori Dupuis. All Other instructors have CIS, NCAA, CWHL, national and international experience. We also have many instructors who are in the full-time teaching profession.

Philosophy: We believe in working on the basic skills of the game - skating, shooting and passing. We believe these skills are the foundation. We have a strong teaching component to our camp, but also incorporate fun activities and games to develop these fundamental skills. We provide classes that will challenge players of all skill levels.
How this school is different: We put a strong emphasis on teaching, but also a focus on fun. Almost all of our instructors are female. We also strongly believe in developing both confidence and self-esteem in young girls. We spend off-ice time working on leadership, co-operative skills, and fitness training.
Anything else that is helpful in 2-3 lines: We provide 3 hours on-ice per day, and 3 hours off-ice instruction per day. All of our instructors have significant elite hockey experience, and a strong passion for the game.

Physically, we want to make our players faster, quicker, more agile, powerful and reactive, allowing them to be the best trained athletes on the ice. Mentally, we instill confidence, determination, work-ethic, perseverance, and leadership through our coaching and training methods. Advanced teaching methods in skating and pucks skills guarantee rapid development of the students skill set. Enhanced Dryland exercises will accelerate the power skating techniques of the players at our camp allowing them to get more out of each hour they train with us.
How is it Distinguished: the camp will provide the most recent and precise information for parents and players in regards to hockey development. Age specific lectures on Nutrition and Off-Ice age specific training and Sports Psychology will be offered. Philosophy: each camp has its own philosophy; one example- College Rep. Camp- This two day conditioning camp will be geared to the elite athlete who has a strong desire to excel at the game of hockey. The program is both physically and mentally demanding and a total commitment is needed by the athlete. Advanced high tempo drills as well as intense off-ice conditioning will prepare the athlete for performing under pressure with endurance. Drills will be similar to those used at the National Team and college level. This class is appropriate for those who are currently competing at the provincial, regional or national levels and offers preparation for competing at the college or university level.

Philosophy: In 2002 all of us at CHE thought it was time to provide the "BEST" camp for girls, with the "BEST" instruction. We went after Canadian and American National Team Members and the rest is history. Last year we grew to 1,000 girls in our 5 locations, Peterborough, ON, Canmore,AB, Kelowna,BC, Lake Placid, NY and Traverse City, MI. Finally our young girls have "role models" in hockey.
